Moravian Academy’s annual  Field Hockey Play Day will take place this Saturday, August 23^rd, from 9am-3pm. Twelve area teams will participate at the Upper School . Come and cheer them on! Each team will play four games in the morning and overtime competitions in the afternoon.  The Moravian Academy team will play against Pocono Mountain East, Freedom High School , Northwestern Lehigh , and East Stroudsburg North. The other participating teams are from Stroudsburg, East Stroudsburg, Easton , Wilson , Bangor , Salisbury and Northern Lehigh .

Betsy Wilson, former Moravian Academy Athletics Director and NFHCA Hall of Famer, will oversee the event’s officials.  Mrs. Wilson is the Chair of the National Federation Field Hockey Rules Committee and oversees the yearly updating and editing of the High School Rule Book.      

Throughout the Play Day there will be food and beverages available for purchase, as well as MA apparel from the Spirit Store.
